At J&S Carpentry and Construction we offer a variety of remodeling services required for handicap accessibility and wheelchair access in the home and in the office.
We have a great deal of experience with "Aging in Place" renovations for seniors who wish to stay in their homes, but simply need renovations to make for a more comfortable living environment.
Examples of handicap access and "Aging in Place" home renovations include, creating a first floor master bedroom, widening doorways, renovating bathrooms, lowering kitchen and bath countertops, and eliminated thresholds in doorways. External home modifications often include building wheelchair ramps and or adding handrails to existing stairs.
